Prime Road Power Public Company Limited (PRIME), led by Mr. Somprasong Panjalak, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, is delighted to announce a significant memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Beta Energy Solutions Company Limited, represented by Dr. Wisit Kochasit, Chairman of the Board of Directors. This strategic partnership is aimed at advancing the application of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and facilitating the exchange of knowledge in renewable energy technologies.
This collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to promoting the integration of efficient energy storage technology. It is expected to strengthen and sustain business operations, while also inspiring other entrepreneurs to explore and adopt advanced energy storage solutions.
In a landmark development, two subsidiaries of PRIME, in which it holds a 99.99% stake, have recently secured Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). These agreements, spanning 25 years, are set to develop ground-mounted solar power projects (solar farms) with a combined capacity of 15.70 megawatts. Additionally, these projects will feature BESS with a total capacity of 72.26 megawatts, with contracts slated for signing within this fiscal year.
