PRIME COD 2 MW Solar Fish Farm in Tainan, Taiwan

        Mr. Somprasong Panjalak, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prime Road Power Public Company Limited, revealed that He Wu Company Limited, a company in the PRIME business group, will begin with commercial operation date – COD electricity of 2.0 megawatts of aquacultural solar project in Tainan City, Taiwan within May 2024. This aquacultural solar project generates income for PRIME approximately THB 11.0 million per year. This project aims to maximize benefits within limited areas. PRIME has invested in, constructed, and installed a solar energy project on the existing fishing land. Therefore, the power plant doesn’t have any impact on fishing activities. On the contrary, it is promoting and conservation of the areas for maximum benefits. Additionally, it also contributes to achieving Taiwan’s energy goals.

        Miss Chitreeya Panyadee, Senior Manager of Business Development and Portfolio Management Department who is responsible for overseeing the business development of PRIME’s solar projects in Taiwan. She informed that apart from the aquacultural solar project aforementioned, there are 5 solar projects of 19.8 megawatts in Taiwan, that will COD in the 2nd quarter of this year onwards.
