Mr. Somprasong Panjalak, Chairman and CEO of Prime Road Power Public Company Limited (PRIME), has announced that the company has received an “Excellent” or 5-star rating in the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies (CGR) 2024, conducted by the Thai Institute of Directors Association (IOD) with the support of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
For this assessment, the company had consistently received a 4-star rating from 2020 to 2023. However, in 2024, it achieved the highest rating of 5 stars for the first time. This significant milestone reflects the company’s exceptional corporate governance practices and commitment to sustainable business development. The company’s board members have demonstrated a solid dedication to transparency and accountability, ensuring that all stakeholders, including shareholders, are treated fairly.
In 2024, 808 listed companies joined the assessment, which now includes 172 enhanced criteria aligned with international standards. These criteria place a stronger focus on sustainable practices and address social and environmental impacts, ensuring long-term sustainability. The evaluation also underscores the board’s proactive role in advancing corporate governance in line with the CG Code and investor expectations.
