Start the 4.64 MW Solar Power Plant Lam Thap Agricultural Cooperative Limited

          Mr. Yuttana Nilkij, Governing Officer, Senior Professional Level (Senior Deputy District Chief), the Chairman, and Mr. Somprasong Panjalak, President of Smart Solar Power Co., Ltd., the sponsor of  4.64 MW Solar Power Plant Lam Thap Agricultural Cooperative Limited,  joined the opening of the latest solar power plant in Krabi Province on 10 January 2019. The project located at T. Lam Thap, A. Lam Thap , Krabi Province.  Lam Thap Agricultural Cooperative Limited was selected by the draw as one of the 38 projects of the solar power plant for the government agencies and agricultural cooperative 2017 Phase 2, from 639 projects throughout the countries. The project construction began in June 2018 on the of the member of Lam Thap Agricultural Cooperative Limited according to the project regulation, and started the Commercial Operating Date on 27 December 2018 to Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) as stipulated in the contract for 25 years.

          Smart Solar Power Co., Ltd. is the developer of the solar power plant projects throughout Thailand. The company gives the priority to the development of the power plant which is the renewable energy from solar energy, wind power, hydropower, biomass energy, and other types of energy which minimize the pollution affecting the human living. This power plant is not only the human and environmental friendly but also creates the energy security to Thailand. Besides, the company promotes the highest benefits for the surrounding area by employing the local labors and participating in the activities of the surrounding communities. Moreover, the company promotes this power plant as the learning center of the renewable energy for the interested people. Furthermore, this power plant generates income to Lam Thap Agricultural Cooperative Limited from the revenue earned from the selling the electricity to PEA at 4.12 Baht per unit throughout 25 years. The revenue share is allocated to the community and the cooperative members benefit in a form of fund, taxation to the community, and educational support, including other activities in the plant surrounding area for their highest benefits.
